A source close to director Farhan Akhtar says, “It is tough casting the male leads when the female leads are already in place. All the top actors assume the women have meaty roles while the men are mere shadows. Lekin aisa nahin hai. The men in Jee Le Zaraa have very important roles to play. Lekin abb inko kaun samjhaye (who is going to explain to them?).”
Apparently, Farhan wants three male superstars to be paired his trio of super-ladies. He may end up casting himself as one of the leads to set an example for other top-notch leading men who are wary of being seen in the company of assertive women.

ZEE5 is back with season 2 of this fan favourite franchise. Returning to the franchise are lead actors Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh who are currently shooting in London with the rest of the crew. The 8-episode web series takes off from where the last season ended. Season 2 narrates the story around two best friends, Tanie and Sumer played by Anya Singh and Nakuul Mehta respectively, who dated once and are now forced to reconnect after a long period of separation. With these new emotions and Sumer & Tanie’s rekindling old friendship in the mix, season 2 is bound to be an intriguing story.

In July, the filmmaker announced the project that he is going back to directing. Bollywood Hungama was the first to reveal the title and cast of the upcoming family-centric movie. Starring Gully Boy pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead, the film's cast also includes Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. Jaya, who has worked with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Na Ho, plays Ranveer's grandmother whereas Dharmendra and Shabana play Alia's grandparents.
A day ago, Karan Johar shared a selfie with his lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt teasing that they will announce the release date of the film November 29. Now, we have learnt that the Dharma Productions' film will release on February 10, 2023.

Currently, the cast is in Delhi shooting for the film. Farah Khan will choreograph the songs whereas Manish Malhotra has designed the costumes. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is one of the assistant directors on the film.
